SORRY I AM ON MATERNITY LEAVE
I am
currently pregnant with my second baby and due in August & on
Maternity Leave from taking birth doula clients.
I am happy to answer
questions by email or phone if you need help picking a doula.
Background, Experience & Training:
I was born at home in my parent’s bed and have been surrounded by pregnant woman, children & family ever since. I was a nanny for 12 years, including overnight care for newborns, and working with twins. I have always enjoyed working with families and young children. Infants are the most amazing people on this planet and I cherish their natural instincts.
I have attended multiple hospital births as labor support, and a few home births over the last 10 years.
I received my degree in Early Childhood Education. I would like to obtain my RN degree in order have the technical information and background to help my clients in the future. I eventually want to become a Midwife.

I had my first child in September 2008 and have gained another whole perspective for birth. I had a great team and in the end, a healthy baby and mommy we were.
I love all the parts of labor and birth that can bring a woman such joy, fear, strength and happiness. Our bodies are meant to have babies and having the RIGHT team to support you at your special time is amazing!
I look forward to helping many more woman for years to come with this part of their life.
