Janet Carroll
RN, CLC, AAHCC, Postpartum Doula (trained by DONA)
Background, Experience & Training:
I was first trained as a birth doula in 1992, and have since attended over 300 births. In 1996, I became a Bradley Method® childbirth educator. Soon after, I started my in-home postpartum doula service helping numerous families, from singleton to triplets, to adjust to their new roles as parents. Then in 2007, I completed my journey of becoming a registered nurse. I am one of the RN's at Sacramento's only free-standing birth center. Recently, I became a certified lactation counselor. Special Note:
Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your child or you may have already had your baby (or babies). If you are overwhelmed by advice, need a little help with baby care or just need to get a little sleep, I can help.
I believe I am a natural nurturer, helping new moms and families adjust to the changes a new baby brings. Clients have said I seem to know their needs before they ask. I would be honored to help you with your new family.
Services:
I offer both birth and postpartum doula support.
I offer day and night care and work with multiples and babies with special or high needs as well. I will travel to far locations to help you with your postpartum needs
