Background, Experience & Training:

I have participated in over 200 births as a doula, and have experience both as a birth and postpartum doula. I have assisted many women with their breastfeeding challenges. My experience includes over 20 years of nursing as a California RN. I became licensed midwife in Ireland, as part of my training I learned to coach women through their labor and then deliver their babies. Through my experience, I have come to recognize that a woman in labor needs another woman who is knowledgeable about birth to support her consistently and I am the mother of two grown children.
